From the Pastor – May 2013

When an individual hears the message of God’s love through the redemptive
work of Jesus on the cross there are only two possible responses. One is to
yield to a feeling of being drawn to pray and seek the Lord. The second is
to resist and seek reasons not to surrender to the salvation and Lordship of
the blessed Saviour.

Someone wisely wrote:
“For those who are willing to believe (trust), no proof is
necessary.

For those who refuse, no proof is possible.”

Child of God, do you realize the privilege of having been drawn to Christ?
Eternal salvation is the gift bestowed by the Father to those who simply
quit resisting and obey the Gospel by calling on Jesus to forgive and
cleanse their life.

This is a time of great worldly light and thick spiritual darkness. The
obviousness of dead-while-they-live souls all around us should first, show
us the truth of the miracle God has performed in our unworthy hearts, and
second, give us a powerful desire to live for His glory, and cry to Him for
a mighty move of His Holy Spirit to open blind eyes and deaf ears to His
message of love.

Father give us a spiritual springtime!
